ANDREW KHAIR

Andrew was born in Camden, NJ to immigrant parents from Egypt. He grew up in a Christian home and cannot remember a time in his life when he was not involved in the church. At a young age, Andrew made a profession of faith in Christ and has since come to recognize increasingly the beauty of growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ. 

For 29 years, Andrew lived in and around the city of Philadelphia where Philadelphia sports became the air he breathed. However, after completing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, God sovereignly moved Andrew and his wife, Beth, from Philly to the city of Minneapolis, where they lived for almost 10 years.

Andrew and Beth have been happily married since 2005 and have since, after a long struggle with infertility, been blessed with three kids, Zach, Nate, and Gabriella. Each of their children fill their life with excitement and activity while reminding them of the sanctifying power of parenting!

In 2017, the Khairs were brought back to NJ because of Andrew’s current job as the Director of Strategy and Business Development of a pharmaceutical company in Parsippany.

Andrew joined the eldership of EBC in October of 2021. He has a deep passion for teaching and discipleship and looks forward to the Lord doing immeasurably more than we can ask or think in EBC so we can give Him the glory He deserves.
